Creamy Alfredo sauce, chicken sauteed in butter, garlic and Italian herbs, then tossed with pasta! An easy recipe that you can assist your kids with. They will learn a new skill and devour it as well!
Serves 6
Cook 4 cups of penne pasta, drain and set aside
Place a pan on medium heat.
Add:
2 tsp butter
1 tsp crushed garlic
2 cups boneless chicken
Saute till cooked.
Add:
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chili flakes
1 tsp mixed Italian herbs
1/2 tsp pepper powder
Saute and set aside.
In the same pan, now add:
2 tsp butter
1/2 tsp crushed garlic
1/2 tsp Italian herbs
1/4 cup maida/AP flour
Roast well.
Add:
2 cups whole milk.
Whisk to remove lumps
Add:
2 cheese slices
Whisk well to form a creamy mixture.
To this, add the cooked chicken and drained pasta. Gently combine.
Add:
Salt and pepper to taste. Combine
Garnish with any fresh herbs, we used mint leaves. Enjoy!
