Video recipe: How to make pooris

These are deep fried wheat breads, that taste great with any curry or chutney.

Makes about 12 pooris

Ingredients
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp oil
About 1 cup warm water or milk
2 cups of vegetable oil

Knead gently to form a dough. In the end, add a teaspoon of oil and knead.
Divide the dough into tiny balls.
This dough will make about 12 pooris.
Flour dust each dough ball on a flat surface  and roll into little  pooris.
In a deep frying pan, add oil and heat on medium-high. Add a tiny pinch of dough to check if the oil is ready. If the dough puffs up, we are ready to fry.
Gently lower the pooris into the hot oil and give it a nudge till it puffs up. Flip it over and let the other side fry as well to a golden brown.
Serve hot with a yummy curry or channa masala, enjoy!
