Chia seeds, a super food packed with all the good stuff, omega 3, minerals, fiber, antioxidants, the list goes on. It has a fabulous texture, a little slimy on the outside and crunchy on the inside. When paired with yogurt and fruit, it makes an awesome breakfast, snack or dessert. You can make up to 4 servings at once and store in the fridge. Top it with new fruits and nuts everyday, and you have a yummy breakfast!

Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients:
1/4 cup Chia seeds
1/2 cup water
1 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup mango puree

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, gently whisk the chia seeds and water with a fork and whisk gently to get rid of lumps. Add yogurt, whisk again to a smooth texture. 
  2. Let stand in the fridge for 30 minutes or overnight.
  3. Before serving, top it with mango puree. Enjoy!
