What you need: serves 4
2 cup green gram sprouts, homemade or store bought (homemade how-to here)
1 green apple, diced
1 red gala apple, diced
1 cup carrot, grated
1 cup cucumber, peeled and diced
For the dressing:
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 Tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
pinch of red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp sugar
Whisk the dressing ingredients together in a bowl. Set aside.
Combine the bean sprouts, cucumber, carrots and apples in a bowl.
Pour the dressing and toss to combine. Let it sit for a few minutes before it is served. Enjoy!
