Time flies, my little sister is having a baby!!! We had a traditional Indian baby shower for the mommy-to-be. We planned to make baby shower cupcakes as take home goodies.
It was a two day ordeal, lots of baking, icing and decorating, mom, sisters and my sons helping, and we finally got them done, all 162 cupcakes. I enjoyed every bit of it.
Mom made a lot of home made sweets and savories, no one can beat her at that. She still works like a clock. Its like she has 8 hands when she is in the kitchen - her ZONE. The more I see her working that way, the more I appreciate all that she does for us. She is so giving, compassionate, and never complains that she is tired. It made me feel guilty every time she whipped up something yummy in no time and had it on teh dining table for us to eat.
So here are some pictures of the cupcakes, moms goodies and the shower, enjoy!
